If you’ve always been curious about how our design service works, allow me to walk you through the process and what it is that makes this service so popular with Baldwin Jewellery.
I have just picked up a very special piece of jewellery that James designed and made for me. It was a little unusual and a challenge but the finished ring is absolutely beautiful and a work of art. From the first call to James I knew that I wanted him to make the ring and I was confident that I would get what I asked for. He listened to my brief, answered my questions and put his own ideas in to the mix. It all starts with you…
Perhaps you’ve inherited some jewellery but you aren’t wearing it, or maybe you’ve got something in mind but never seen it to buy. Whatever your reasons, we can talk you through what the possibilities are and help you visualise the design to ensure you’re delighted with the end result. Whether it’s initially over the phone, via email or by coming to visit us in our shop, we can easily get the ball rolling with an informal chat.
During our conversations and getting to know you better, we’ll discuss whether you have a particular timescale in mind and what your budget is to ensure we can deliver against your requirements. You’ll also notice we’re different from most other jewellers in that we manage the whole design process on site.
We use the latest in jewellery specific CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacture) technology, enabling us to bring you closer to the design right from the start. But it’s not just about the 3D rendering and images, it’s just as much about you being able to visualise the piece as something to hold, wear and call your own. Our state-of-the-art software creates an exact and almost photographic image of your design, which we know is enormously helpful for our customers.
To further help you visualise the end result, we can also create a model for you to look at if necessary, prior to making the finished article. Once we’ve agreed upon the design, we’ll provide you with progress updates along the way.
