There’s no denying that the world is a very different place to what we’re used to right now. Like everyone else, we watched the news closely in anticipation of further developments, which ultimately resulted in us having to close our doors at the end of March.

Fast forward 3 months, a lot of behind the scenes preparation and we were ready to open our doors again on the 15th of June. Just like other customer-facing business’, we’ve worked tirelessly to ensure that we maintain the strict new guidelines to ensure the safety of our team and customers. Working closely with Tavistock Town Council to ensure we’re in a position to safely open our doors, we’ve had to risk assess every element of how we work and come up with solutions to problems we never imagined having before.

How we’re keeping everyone safe…

Customers in Store

Due to the size of our shop, we can only permit one person or couple in at a time. This may mean that you will have to wait outside. Please call us if you would prefer to make an appointment.

Enhanced Cleaning

We have been busy preparing our shop ready for the doors to open again by conducting a thorough deep clean. We will continue to clean throughout the day too.

Till Point Screen

For the added protection of our customers and team, we have installed screens around the till area of our shop.

Social Distancing

Because we are limiting the number of customers we can have in our shop, we ask that you please wait outside if there are customers already being served and ensure you are following the latest government guidelines on social distancing. Please call us if you would prefer to make an appointment.

Hand Sanitising

We understand that you want to feel protected when out and about, so we have hand sanitiser available for you to use for your added peace of mind.

Jewellery Sterilisation

For your peace of mind and our protection, we will be sterilising all jewellery that has come into contact with anyone. Items brought to us may have to also be quarantined to ensure they are safe to handle.

We’ve all had to adapt and find different ways of working and the whole team here at Baldwin Jewellery would like to say thank you to our customers for their ongoing support and patience at this time.

As much as weddings and special celebrations had to be postponed, there will come a time when we can all enjoy these things again. What’s kept our spirits up, is hearing from you and your excitement about our doors opening. We can’t wait to be a part of all your special moments again!
